A Mother’s Love

Sarah doesn’t care about the money. She just wants to have full custody of her child and the judge agrees. Now, Sarah is a single mother with no money and no job.

Sarah doesn’t have the skills to get a job in today’s economy. All she knows is being a great mom who takes care of the house and her children. She’s really good at it but it doesn’t pay the bills.

She’s really struggling to make ends meet. Plus she needs money to feed her son and to put a roof over their heads. But Sarah doesn’t stop trying. She keeps putting a lot of effort into getting a job so she can put food on the table.

Days turn into weeks and weeks turn into months. Sarah is still unemployed. Her savings is getting low. She has to figure out a way to raise her son and survive. She can’t afford food. She has to live on a 5 lbs bag of rice with little else to eat with it.

She cries every night after Jason falls asleep with an empty stomach. She’s hungry herself, but she promises him things will get better. In the midst of all this, she believes her life will get better. That she will be able to get a decent-paying job.

Sarah believes in the law of the universe, the Law of Attraction. She keeps thinking positively.
One day, Sarah reads a job posting in her local newspaper. It’s yesterday’s paper that she finds lying around on the side of the street. It’s a babysitting job for a family in her neighborhood. Sarah feels the universe is starting to reward her effort.

She rushes to her small apartment and looks for a quarter to make a phone call from a payphone.

“Hello?” a man’s voice answers the phone.
“Hi, my name is Sarah and I read your ad about a nanny position in the newspaper,” she replies with high hope.
“Oh, yes,” the man continues “but you’re too late, we’ve already hired someone else.”

Sarah is heartbroken but she keeps a positive attitude, she says “Oh ok. No problem. Would you please save my name and address just in case you need a replacement?”

He says “Sure. No problem,” and he writes down Sarah’s contact information.

Then, Sarah goes to her temporary job at a local bedding store holding a sign on a sidewalk. It is the only job she can get at this moment. The job is awful. The pay is only $7/hour. It’s definitely not enough to support both herself and her son.

She has to work outside whether it’s hot or rainy. But Sarah doesn’t complain. She keeps looking for a better job and the most important thing: she believes things will get better soon.

Weeks go by really fast. One day, when Sarah arrives home from work, she sees a luxury car parked in front of her apartment building. Then, she sees a tall, handsome man is standing in front of her door.

She greets him, “Hi, I’m Sarah, may I help you?” He answers “Hi Sarah, I’m Nick. You replied to my newspaper ad about being a nanny?”

Sarah is surprised but she manages to keep her cool and answers “Oh yes, I remember that, come on in. Please forgive me, my place is a mess. I’m not expecting a guess”

But Nick is very polite as he looks around at Sarah’s small apartment. He also meets Jason who is busy doing his homework.

Sarah is embarrassed because she doesn’t have anything to serve Nick except a glass of water. Nick doesn’t mind at all.

Nick tells Sarah the nanny he has hired steals his belongings while he’s not home so he has to let her go so he comes here to tell Sarah that he wants her to work as a nanny at his house.

Sarah cannot believe what she hears. She says “Yes” immediately after Nick offers her the job.

The pay is $18/hour. It’s more than twice what she’s making right now! And then Nick asks: “When can you start working?” Sarah replies: “I can start today if you want me to”

Nick smiles and says “Well, get some rest and you can start tomorrow.” Then he gives her his address so she can start working tomorrow.

Sarah cannot stop thanking him on his way out. She cannot wait to start working at her new job. After all, babysitting is her expertise. She promises she will not mess this up.

Inspiration Words: Never Give Up On Something That You Really Want To Do

Sarah goes to Nick’s address the next day and she is very impressed with his house. She realizes Nick is also a big believer in Positive Thinking and the Law of Attraction. Nick has positive quotes posters on his wall. She feels very comfortable with her surroundings.

Nick introduces her to his daughter, Emily. Sarah quickly learns Nick is a single father who’s busy working as a financial advisor. He needs someone he can trust and Sarah is the right person for it.

Sarah works very hard for Nick and it shows. One day, Nick asks Sarah to go out on a date with him. Nick says he’s impressed with Sarah’s dedication to her work. He likes how she takes care of the house and Emily while he’s busy working.

At first, Sarah doesn’t know what to say, but then she says yes. Nick is very handsome, she thinks. The date goes very well. Not long after that Nick and Sarah are dating each other.

Nick teaches Sarah how to start her own business so that she can be independent.

Now, Sarah is happily married to Nick, with their children: Jason and Emily.

Sarah also starts her own business. She employs 20 honest, hard-working women, just like her, to be nannies. Her company has a great reputation because Sarah really screens her employees well. She runs her business from home because she wants to be the best mother for her children.

Sarah cannot be happier! Her life is even better now. She is inspired to help young women and single mothers so they can get back on their feet again. After all, Nick helped Sarah when she needed it the most.

Moral of the story: Never give up going after your dreams. Where there is love and inspiration you can’t go wrong.
